What is a Featured Vendor?
A featured vendor will have their logo displayed, along with additional value added services, a
local phone number and the price quote for the job. This position will show to the public within
an entire county. The featured vendors will be rotated randomly, so no one vendor is always listed
at the top. The page will display no more than 6 vendors to the consumer in any given county,
however, the customer can choose to view more vendors if they wish.
How do I pay for the monthly subscription fees?
During the registration process you will be asked to identify your subscription level and to enter
your form of payment on the Windshields.com site. Your subscription fee will be charged once
your account is reviewed and you are accepted into the Windshields.com directory. If your
payment is declined for any reason, you will automatically be removed from the system until your
payment is updated and processed. Again there are no lead fees for web submitted inquiries, only
for phone calls made to the tracking number we assign your shop. In addition, you will be
provided a report of the phone calls and links to the recordings for your review.
How do I pay for the Phone Call Leads and how does that system work?
When you are accepted into the Windshields.com directory, you will be assigned a local phone
number that will forward to your shop line. That phone number will be displayed on WS.com and
will direct anyone who calls that number to your shop. Those phone calls will be billed out at
$5.00 per call (greater than 40 seconds). When you pick up the phone, you will hear a whisper
identifying that the call is coming from Windshields.com. The billing is currently set to happen
every two weeks and you will provided with a list of billable calls and links to listen to the
recordings.
